“Local Patriots: A Discussion with Arab American Heroes of Jacksonville” chronicles the experiences of six residents who served in the U.S. military. Joy Batteh-Freiha and Carol Mackoul will moderate the discussion.
This program complements “Patriots and Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country,” a traveling exhibit curated by the Arab American National Museum. The exhibit is on display now through Dec. 16 in the third floor atrium of the Main Library.
The Jacksonville Public Library is committed to making its public programs accessible to all persons. If you need special accommodations, please call 630-2665 at least 24 hours prior to the event.
