The Jacksonville Business Journal CFO of the Year Awards were given out this week. The awards are given to financial professionals in Jacksonville for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards. Between financial report discussions and conference calls with managers, chief financial officers are stretched across multiple parts of each organization. As the title suggests, CFOs are responsible for all financial aspects of the company. But as any CFO will tell you, their duties extend far beyond the title.
