March 23, 2016
More than 1,700 Jacksonville seniors gathered at Hanna Park March 23 for fishing, dancing and games during the annual Mayor’s Fish-A-Thon. This is the 42nd year of the event hosted by the City’s Senior Services division.
Mayor Curry and his family spent time fishing along the lake before presenting the awards for the fishing contest. The event is held every year in
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park near the Mayport community, known for its beach access, campgrounds and many hiking and bike trails.
