The new face of COJ.net launched this weekend, following a period of thorough testing and reviewing citizen feedback since launching a prototype site in February.

The new COJ.net will also prominently display photos of Jacksonville landscapes, landmarks and events. Jacksonville residents are invited to submit their original photos that showcase the city by visiting
coj.net/photos. Selected photos will be featured on COJ.net. More information about the submission criteria can be found at
coj.net/photos.
Besides more visual appeal, the new site features a number of upgrades providing greater mobile access, enhanced search functionality and translation services. The City of Jacksonville has maintained an online presence on COJ.net since the early 1990’s, with an update in 2001. The previous version of COJ.net came online in 2010.
“I encourage everyone to visit COJ.net in the coming days and experience for themselves the enhanced functionality it offers visitors,” said Mayor Alvin Brown. “We are working hard to improve access to city information and services, and COJ.net is an important tool to reach residents, businesses, and anyone who wants to know more about our beautiful city.”
The new site includes improvements to navigation, the search function and translation capabilities, as well as redesigns to the user interface, or how the site’s pages look and respond. Future phases will include customized templates for pages belonging to different city departments and agencies. Members of the public are invited to provide their feedback on the new site at
