November 09, 2017
The park located at Garden City Elementary received a facelift today thanks to a $95,000 grant from Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA). More than 65 employees from the MBUSA Jacksonville Parts Distribution Center, Engineering Services/Quality Evaluation Center, Southern Regional Office and the Learning and Performance Center, volunteered to help spruce up the park by cleaning up, planting trees and landscaping as part of MBUSA’s Giveback program. In addition to fresh landscaping, the funding will also provide new state-of-the-art playground equipment which will be installed next week.
