Mayor’s Young Leaders Advisory Council Class of 2016-2017 Named

The newest members of the Mayor’s Young Leaders Advisory Council (YLAC) have been named, and have already begun planning activities for the new school year!
Established in 2014, the YLAC is composed of local high school students offering youth the opportunity to learn more about city government and effective citizenship. Additionally, YLAC members will share ideas with City officials and advise them on issues facing Jacksonville’s youth. The 60 participating juniors and seniors represent more than 30 local public and private Duval County high schools.
