The Jacksonville Film & Television Office is hosting the Jacksonville Television, Digital Media & Music Forum on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 12:30 p.m. in the Main Library’s Hicks Auditorium (303 N. Laura St. - 32202.)
 
This free event includes the following panels:
  • A Producer's Journey: MTV's SIESTA KEY: from Sizzle Reel to Worldwide Television Sensation
  • Movies, Entertainment and Music: Secrets to Getting Your Music Produced and on the Radio
  • Music Scoring and Licensing
Panelists include:
  • Warren Skeels, an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker; Creator, Executive Producer and Director of MTV’s ‘SIESTA KEY’. 
  • Lawrence Najem, attorney whose notable past clients have included John Travolta, The New York Yankees, and the William Morris Endeavor talent agency and executive producer on films starring Sharon Stone, Tim Allen and Jimmy Fallon. 
  • Damien Starkey, a producer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and former member of the multi-platinum selling band Puddle of Mudd and Burn Season.
  • Dr. Michael FitzGerald, creator and executive producer of ‘The Soul of Southern Rock’, a PBS miniseries and an author and media historian.
  • DJ Dr. Doom, 93.3 The Beat on air personality and mix show director, manages Grammy award writer/ singer/ rapper “Kamillion and Get Down Apparel, creates celebrity mixtapes and helps independent artist.
  • Colby Boothman, an American actor and heavy bass DJ, best known for ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Queen & Slim’, and the motion capture and sword work for ‘Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars Battlefront’ series. 
  • Keith Davis, the owner of Hamsquad, Inc., a Florida-based music production company, signing multiple producers and songwriters to both production and publishing deals of note and serves as manager for rising producer Ghostrage.
