The City of Jacksonville will host the annual Florida-Georgia football game on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 3:30 p.m. at TIAA Bank Field where the University of Florida will take the home field against the University of Georgia. The annual tradition has taken place in Jacksonville since 1933 and is considered to be one of college football’s most significant rivalries.
“As mayor and a football fan, I am excited for what this game means to our community,” said Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry. “It’s more than a game. It’s a long-standing Jacksonville tradition, and an entire week of activities that brings thousands of fans every year. And this year is going to be bigger than ever.”
