Hemming Park Announces Events for February 2017

Friends of Hemming Park is proud to host the following programs and events in Hemming Park located at 135 W. Monroe Street in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. All activities listed below are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
WEEKLY PROGRAMMING
Monday - Friday: Food Trucks & Live Music, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
Monday - Sunday: Hemming Park Kids Zone, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.                                     
Every Tuesday: Toddler Tuesday, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
 
SPECIAL EVENTS
 
WED, FEBRUARY 1
First Wednesday Art Walk, 5 – 9 p.m. 

Come feel the love at February Art Walk. This month will be a celebration of creativity, diversity and peaceful expression bigger and better than ever. Enjoy local artists and live music in Hemming Park, food trucks, special performances and more on Laura Street and throughout the 15+ blocks of Art Walk. Details at iloveartwalk.com.
 
FRI, FEBRUARY 3
Nonprofit Business Expo, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
All I Know, Inc. invites you to Hemming Park every first Friday of the month to meet and mingle with local nonprofit organizations to learn about their services and how you can get involved. 
 
SUN, FEBRUARY 5
Art Fusion with MOCA Jacksonville, 12 – 3 p.m. 

Kids are invited to join one of MOCA Jacksonville’s professional art educators in Hemming Park for a hands-on art activity inspired by the works in the Museum. After, participating kids can enjoy free admission to the museum. The first weekend of the month is also “Museums on Us” weekend which means Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders get in free too!
 
SAT, FEBRUARY 25
365 Days of Summer Food Truck Festival, 5 - 8 p.m. 

Winter seemed to skip Jacksonville this year, so let’s celebrate 365 Days of Summer in the city with local food truck fare, craft beer, lawn games, entertainment and more!
