Executive Director of Police & Fire Pension Fund Named

Timothy H. Johnson has been named executive director of the City of Jacksonville Police & Fire Pension Fund. Johnson brings more than 30 years of professional experience to the retirement system management role.
Since 2012, Johnson served as executive director for Allegheny County Employees' Retirement System. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Allegheny County Employees' Retirement System serves nearly 12,000 members with retirement, disability and death benefit services, with assets totaling more than $850 million. Before this position, Johnson was administrative services director for the County of Allegheny, a position he held for eight years.
He has been active in industry associations including the board of the PA Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems.
Johnson earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University and an M.A. degree in Organizational Development from Robert Morris University.
He began his new role Aug. 1.
