The City’s Neighborhoods Department is encouraging neighborhood organizations to apply for its inaugural Neighborhood Awards, which will highlight community groups that have excelled in improving Jacksonville for its citizens. The deadline to apply is

All neighborhood organizations registered with the City of Jacksonville's Neighborhood Services Office are invited to apply for an award. The 2020 Neighborhood Awards will be given to organizations for outstanding projects that were developed and completed January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. Eligible clean-up projects must have been reported through the Clean It Up/ Green It Up program email at
cleanupvolunteers@coj.net or
ddurbec@coj.net during the same time period.
