The National Weather Service is forecasting severe weather on Tuesday, January 9, including high winds and heavy rains with the potential for hail, localized flooding, and isolated tornadoes.
Due to this pending storm system, all City of Jacksonville government offices will be closed to the public on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. All City Council meetings will be postponed, and City parks and recreation facilities will also be closed.
Additionally, all Duval County Public Schools and facilities will be closed, and all after-school activities cancelled, on Tuesday, January 9.
