City Council President to Establish Task Force on Safety and Crime Prevention

City Council President Aaron L. Bowman believes that by combining expertise, experience, and resources, the City of Jacksonville can benefit from a collective approach and shared vision to address safety and crime.

President Bowman is establishing the Task Force on Safety and Crime Reduction to make recommendations for how the City can better coordinate programs and funding for safety and crime reduction. Applications are being accepted for task force members.

All submissions for task force membership must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018. Please note this date has been extended due to increasing interest.
