2024 Junior World Skeet Championships Come to Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Clay Target Sports (JCTS) will host the 2024 Junior World Skeet Championships from Thursday, July 25, through Sunday, July 28.

The 2024 Junior World Skeet Championships is a major national event that attracts the best high school and college skeet shooters nationwide. Jacksonville Clay Target Sports is excited to host this caliber of sports for our city and our residents. We expect over 100 participants and many of their family members to attend.

The opening ceremony will start at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, and will be held behind the clubhouse. Jacksonville Clay Target Sports' address is 12125 New Berlin Road, 32226.

 The Opening Ceremony sequence of events:
  • The USMC Blount Island Command Color Guard will present the Colors followed by the National Anthem
  • Alex Alston (Representing Mayor Deegan) remarks
  • Mike Gay (District 2 City Council Member) remarks
  • Chris Miller (At-Large City Council Member and District Director for Congressman Rutherford) remarks
After the Opening Ceremony, the 2024 Junior World Skeet Championships' competitive shooting will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Established in 1936, Jacksonville Clay Target Sports is one of the country's oldest continuously operating gun clubs. JCTS is open to the public and offers several different levels of membership. It provides a safe, convenient, friendly shooting experience and is open for recreational activities four days a week.
