Christine Valliere joined the Office of General Counsel in July 2024 and serves as Assistant General Counsel to JEA.  Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Ms. Valliere spent three years with the St. Johns County Office of the County Attorney, serving as a Senior Assistant County Attorney.  Ms. Valliere also worked as an attorney for the Brevard County Attorney’s Office for more than 25 years.  Ms. Valliere’s government practice areas include real estate, land use and development, eminent domain, environmental law, beach renourishment, procurement, contracts, public utilities, sunshine law, public records and ethics.

Ms. Valliere is a Florida Bar Board Certified City, County and Local Government Attorney.  She is admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  She is also a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Florida Association of County Attorneys.
