Amy Grass-Gilmore joined the Office of General Counsel in February 2024.
Prior to joining the OGC, Ms. Grass-Gilmore worked as an Assistant Public Defender for almost 16 years, after which she opened a solo law firm, worked at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid in the Family Law Unit, and then practiced in the area of electronic discovery as a document review attorney. During law school Ms. Grass-Gilmore was a Council of Ten teaching fellow in Criminal Law and served on the university’s Student Honor Court.
Her legal career in Jacksonville includes over 50 jury trials, as well as numerous hearings and non-jury juvenile court trials. Ms. Grass-Gilmore’s past professional highlights include serving as a Teen Court volunteer, participating in the Florida Family Law Inn of Court, and helping a client obtain a full pardon and restoration of rights from the State of Florida.
Ms. Grass-Gilmore is a member of The Florida Bar.
