Note: The adoption application is provided online for convenience. The completed adoption application must be presented in person at Animal Care and Protective Services at the time of adoption.
Adoption Requirements
To ensure each animal is placed with an appropriate home, we screen potential adopters during the application process. The basic requirements are as follows:
- Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
- A photo ID is required.
- Proof of currrent residency.
Rabies vaccination
All dogs and cats four months and older are vaccinated for rabies and licensed before they are adopted.
