Beach Clean Up - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Keep Jacksonville Beautiful will partner with sustainable product manufacturer phade on a beach cleanup from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m., Saturday, August 24th as part of the company’s “Beach Cleanup Tour,” a Florida-centric effort that aims to enlist residents and businesses in ridding local shores of billions of pieces of trash.


The event kicks off at 6:30 a.m. next to the Jacksonville Beach Pier, 503 1st St. North, Jacksonville Beach, with volunteer sign-in and cleanup supplies distribution and includes a brief welcome by a KJB Commissioner and remarks by a phade representative.

 
Volunteers will return to the starting point at 8:45 for final words and a drawing of gift cards.
 
Sustainable phade  products are manufactured in Jacksonville at a facility located at 5515 W. Fifth St.
