Notice is hereby given that the Office of Ethics, Compliance and Oversight will host a mandatory Ethics Training session with the Jacksonville City Council and Council Staff. This ethics training session is provided in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statutes section 112.3142 mandating elected officials complete four (4) hours of ethics training annually. This session will provide 2.5 hours of training.

As of May, 2015, there is now mandatory ethics training for all Boards and Commissions members (Ordinance 2015-268, section 50.109). Every Board and Commission member should attend at least one live training session every four years. They are held bi-monthly and will be one hour long. Bring lunch or a drink if you like.
As chair of the NCIS Committee, we have scheduled a NCIS Committee Workshop to be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Lynwood Roberts Room, 1st Floor of City Hall, 117 West Duval St, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
The Committee will adjourn no later than noon, regarding legislative matters, and reconvene immediately thereafter to consider special matters before the Committee.
