Bi-Monthly Ethics Training For Boards & Commissions

All members of City Boards and Commissions are required by local law to complete training provided by the City’s Ethics Office. This should be completed within six months of appointment and renewed at least once every four years. A completed knowledge check is required prior to training. Please reach out to the City’s Ethics office, ethics@coj.net,  or to your board’s City liaison for details.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member LeAnna Gutierrez Cumber with Council Member Matt Carlucci and Council Member Randy DeFoor will be hosting a press conference on Thursday, January 19th at 10:00am at CSX 500 Water Street (outside the building by the cul-de-sac) to discuss CM Cumber’s filed legislation to prevent antisemitic symbols and statements from being projected on public and private property in Jacksonville. This has been filed as emergency legislation. These projected messages are preventing Jacksonville from being its very best and do not reflect the values the people of this great city hold.
