Jacksonville City Council President Michael Corrigan and Councilman Lad Daniels, Chair of the City Council's Special Committee on 'Conducting Jacksonville's Business', held a news conference on Tuesday, August 8^th at 2:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, to release the special committee's final report and announced the introduction of an ordinance to codify many of the committee's recommendation.

I am very excited about the upcoming year and serving as Council President. One of my goals this year is to strive to make our city government more efficient and effective. I hope the City Council can lead by example, starting with the function of the City Council Committees.
