CITY OF JACKSONVILLE TO HOST ANNUAL VETERANS DAY PARADE

Presented by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A.

The City of Jacksonville invites residents and visitors to pay tribute to our military, past and present, at the 2026 Veterans Day Parade presented by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. The parade will be held on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, at 11:01 a.m. in Downtown Jacksonville.

“It is truly an honor to participate in this meaningful celebration of the brave men and women from our community who have served our country,” said Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan. “As a proud military town, Jacksonville has a rich Veterans Day tradition, and I encourage all our citizens to be a part of it.”

The parade will feature Mayor Donna Deegan and Honorary Grand Marshal John F. Lovejoy, M.D., a Vietnam veteran. In addition, the parade will feature senior military officials, active-duty and retired military units, veteran groups, local school groups, ornamental floats, and more.

The 2026 Veterans Day Parade presented by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. begins on Water Street in front of the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts and turns north onto Hogan Street, east onto Bay Street, and then north onto A. Philip Randolph Boulevard, finishing just past East Adams Street in front of the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The 2026 route is approximately 1.32 miles in length.

Parade spectators are encouraged to gather safely downtown and show their support by wearing red, white, and blue and waving flags. The parade can be viewed from multiple locations along Water Street, Hogan Street, and Bay Street.

The Veterans Day Parade is a rain-or-shine event. Safety is the City’s highest priority. Should severe weather conditions pose a risk, public notifications will be issued regarding any necessary changes.
