Faye Rustin was first elected to the Jacksonville City Council in 1999 and served as the Chaplain to the City Council for the 02/03 year. She was re-elected to the City Council in 2003 and served until she resigned in 2005.

Previously, Rustin served as a member of the Mayor's Small Business Commission, the North Citizens' Planning Advisory Committee (CPAC), and chair of the Existing Business Committee for the Mayor's Economic Summit. She was also president of the Chamber's North Council and was a recipient of the North Council's Small Business Leader of the Year Award.
Rustin has lived in Jacksonville since 1985. She was born in Toombs County, Georgia and is a graduate of Toombs Central High School, Swainsboro Tech, Ruth Greene School of Real Estate and Denise Carol School of Adult Modeling.
Rustin is a small business owner and she is a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church. She and her husband, John Logan, reside in North Jacksonville.
