Joe Carlucci is a Jacksonville native and third-generation insurance agent—and now third-generation public servant on the Jacksonville City Council.
Joe and his brother, Matt Jr., started their insurance agency in 2009, and it has become one of largest and fastest growing insurance agencies in North Florida. He has a strong background in business and leadership, having graduated from Stanton College Prep, the University of North Florida, and obtaining a certificate of Executive Leadership from Cornell University. Joe is also a graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2021 (officially known as THE best class).
From 2021 to 2023, he served as a voting member of the Duval Citizens Oversight Committee, which oversees the 1.9-billion-dollar capital improvement plan for schools.
In 2019 and 2020, he served as president of the San Marco Merchants Association, leading many notable improvements and enhancements to the San Marco business community.
Councilman Carlucci is passionate about effective community leadership and family values. He enjoys coaching his son’s little league baseball team, traveling, and spending time with his family. Joe is scuba certified and loves to explore the underwater world. His favorite date night spots with Victoria include Town Hall, Rue St. Marc, and Taverna Oceana, and his favorite ice cream shops to take his two young boys to are Mayday, Marble Slab, and Foxtail.
