Boyer, Chairman of the Duval County Tourist Development Council (TDC), will meet with the Tourist Development Council Members for a special meeting scheduled on Friday, February 3, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in City Hall at St. James Building, 117 W. Duval Street, Fourth Floor, Suite 425, and Conference Room A. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the Duval County Tourist Development Council Request for Proposal (RFP) and procedure as outlined by the City of Jacksonville Procurement Division.
Notice is hereby given that Council Member Bill Gulliford is calling a special meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, located at 117 West Duval Street, City Hall, St.James Building. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss concerns and issues related to Ordinance 2017-15, known as the Human Rights Ordinance.
As of May, 2015, there is now mandatory ethics training for all Board and Commission members (Ordinance 2015-268, section 50.109). Every Board and Commission member should attend at least one live training session every four years. They are held bi-monthly and will be one hour long. Bring lunch or a drink if you like.
