Shelters across the country are experiencing an increase in animal populations and adoption rates aren’t keeping pace, resulting in overflowing kennels. ACPS is no exception. Our shelter is full, full, full with more than 200 pets available for adoption. That’s why we have joined Best Friends Animal Society and nearly 600 shelter and rescue partners for a National Adoption Event this weekend.

You’re invited to spend your lunch break with JHRC as we learn more about the tools and resources available to employers to identify and assist employees with mental health issues in the workplace. In particular, these tools may assist employers with preventing workplace disturbances, violence, alcoholism, drug abuse, or suicides that may arise because of anxiety, depression or stress in the workplace or from personal/family issues outside of work that may affect an employee at work.
