The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department in partnership with the Jacksonville Public Library will be at the Charles Webb Wesconnett Library on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Veterans can come speak with a Veteran Service Officer (VSO) at this local library with no appointment necessary!

Active Duty, Veterans, Military Spouses and their business partners are invited to attend an informative one-day workshop on "Starting a Franchise Business". This workshop will cover how to determine if a franchise business is right for you; how to fund a business; and more. Plus, enjoy a panel discussion from successful franchisees who will answer attendee questions. This workshop is offered for free due to the generosity of Army Veteran Robert Jacoby. Breakfast, lunch, parking and the "Your Career 2.0" book are included.
