In accordance with Section 15.108 (Annual continuing education and training on Sunshine Law requirements), Ordinance Code: Notice is hereby given that the Office of Ethics, Compliance, and Oversight, with the assistance of the Office of General Counsel and the Director of Jacksonville City Council, will provide the fourth and final hour of annual Mandatory Training on state ethics Laws. Training will include gifts and other current ethics topics. Meeting will provide continuing education and training to the City Council Members and their Executive Council Assistants on state ethics laws, including gifts and public records laws. All interested parties are invited to attend.

All members of City Boards and Commissions are required by local law to complete training provided by the City’s Ethics Office. This should completed within six months of appointment and renewed at least once every four years. Due to the global COVID19 pandemic, in-person training is currently suspended.
