Notice is hereby given that Jacksonville City Council Members Reggie Gaffney Jr. (District 8) and Mike Gay (District 2) will host a joint public information meeting in partnership with the Jacksonville’s Public Works Department, 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Oceanway Community Center, 12215 Sago Avenue W, Jacksonville, FL. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the New Berlin Road project starting in districts 2 and 8. This is a two-meeting project. March 21st’s meeting will address mainly District 8 and portions of District 2. The second meeting, conducting by Council Member Mike Gay, will focus strictly on District 2 (more details from District 2 to follow).

The Boards and Commissions training scheduled for March 21, 2024 at noon is cancelled. The next scheduled training is via zoom on May 16, 2024 at noon.

All members of City Boards and Commissions are required by local law to complete training provided by the City’s Ethics Office. This should be completed within six months of appointment and renewed at least once every four years. A completed knowledge check is required prior to training. Please reach out to the City’s Ethics office, ethics@coj.net, or to your board’s City liaison for details.
