Icemen & City of Jacksonville Launch 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs

The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and the AHL’s Rochester Americans along with the City of Jacksonville have officially announced the opening of the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs, presented by Dream Finders Homes.  The announcement came at a press conference held at the Community First Igloo in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Human Rights Commission Annual Fair Housing Expo is Back With a Focus on Affordable, Sustainable, Attainable Housing for Residents

The Jacksonville Human Rights Commission (JHRC) today released full information concerning its annual Fair Housing Expo, which will take place at the Southbank Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront, on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10am until 4pm. The free event will feature workshops, panel discussions, and a keynote address from experts in the areas of fair and affordable housing.  Experts and leaders confirmed for the expo include Senator Tracie Davis, Representative Angie Nixon, Councilman Jimmy Peluso, and Leah Rothstein, who has for over two decades been a consultant to housing developers, financiers, and local governments on community development and affordable housing.
