The Risk Management Division helps protect the city's assets, including its workers, by managing insurance and employee safety programs. In particular, the division focuses on such areas as workers compensation, automobile insurance and general liability insurance. These functions help reduce liability and minimize financial and other risks for the city and its stakeholders.

General Liability: If you have suffered a loss for which you believe the City is responsible, you may make a claim by contacting (904) 630-CITY (My Jax) or by calling (904) 255-5344 to submit an incident.

Workers’ Compensation: If you are a City employee and you have sustained a work-related injury, please call (904) 255-5344 and follow the prompts to the correct department for immediate assistance.
