Reggie Fullwood, a native of Jacksonville, was the youngest City Councilman in the history of the city. Elected May 11, 1999, Reggie served City Council District 9, which covers parts of Jacksonville's North, West and South regions of town. He was re-elected for a second term in April of 2003 and was the Floor Leader for the 2005-2006 Council Year.
He is President of Rhino Harbor Development, LLC., a multifamily housing development and consulting firm that focuses on providing quality affordable housing to families and individuals in need.
Prior to his role at Rhino Harbor, Fullwood was Director of Government and Public Relations for the Vestcor Development Corporation. Vestcor is one of North Florida's largest owners and managers of multifamily communities specializing in real estate investment, development, construction and property management.
Fullwood also writes a weekly editorial column for the Jacksonville Free Press that focuses on local and state political and social issues. A local graduate of Paxon Senior High School, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Political Science from the University of North Florida where he is also pursuing his Masters in Public Administration.
Reggie is an alumnus of INROADS Jacksonville, which is a national career development organization that recruits intelligent highly motivated college students to participate in a professional internship program. Their mission is to develop and train talented minority youth in business and industry and prepare them for corporate leadership.
Reggie is an honorary member of the Board of Directors of the Clara White Mission and is a member of the Museum of Science and History (MOSH) board as well. He resides in the Paxon/Woodstock community and is a life long resident of the district he represented.
